St. Petersburg is famous for its White Nights. During White Nights, when a faint twilight takes the place of night darkness, the streets, squares and embankments acquire a unique charm. Though the period of White Nights is short and comes to an end in July, it doesn't mean that a charm of St. Petersburg's night disappears. The city dominated by water still offers its guests many possibilities of feeling its beauty. One of these possibilities is offered to you during the excursion "St. Petersburg's night".
This excursion combines a sightseeing drive to those landmarks of the city which are getting most fascinating when the night is getting on, and a cruise along the rivers and canals of St. Petersburg. Those choosing a river cruise have a unique chance of seeing the most romantic places of the city. A trip on board a cosy boat reveals some hidden secrets of the city and doesn't leave anybody indifferent to its charm.
This excursion doesn't repeat the excursion "Imperial Capital" but reveals some other attractions of St. Petersburg from another point of view. You'll see:
Nevsky Prospekt - St. Petersburg's main street with a history as old as the city itself - stretches from the Admiralty to Alexander Nevsky Monastery. Full of life from early morning until late at night Nevsky Prospekt is the magnetic heart of the city.
Russian Museum is a veritable treasure house of Russian art containing unparalleled collection of works dating from the 11th century to the present. This excursion doesn't include a visit to the museum - you would need the whole day for it, but it's well worth seeing the building itself which has become the compositional center of the beautiful architectural ensemble.

Anichkov bridge is a jewel of Nevsky Prospekt. From a boat passing under the bridge you will have a magnificent view of the famous equestrian statues "Man Taming the Wild Horse" sculptured by Pyotr Klodt.
Engineers' (Mikhailovsky) Castle - a very mysterious place which looks like a medieval castle - was built as a safe residence for the suspicious Russian Emperor Paul I, one of the most enigmatic figures in the history of Russia. Ironically, in this very castle he was strangled by his close associates. A few years later the castle housed the Central Engineering College where Fyodor Dostoyevsky studied before choosing a career in writing. Who knows, maybe his specific perception of the world was formed due to the atmosphere of such a weird place.
Church of the Resurrection of Christ - the most flamboyant church of St. Petersburg, also known under the name of "Church on Spilled Blood" - was built on the same spot where Tsar Alexander II was assassinated by a terrorist from the revolutionary organization People's Will.
It's only a small part of what you will see. The rest will be revealed to you during the excursion. The most important is that our company guarantees an unforgettable image and long memory of St. Petersburg.
During the excursion you'll be offered tea and coffee. There's an old tradition in St. Petersburg concerning a glass of champagne. St. Petersburg's night, beautiful views, nice company, a glass of champagne is a perfect ending to the excursion. All beverages included!
